**NEW YORK, NY** – The highly anticipated Met Gala is underway, with A-list celebrities making their grand entrance on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This year’s exclusive event, themed “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” celebrates the rich history and influence of Black fashion, drawing inspiration from Monica L. Miller’s book, “Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity.”
