Mon May 05 11:30:03 UTC 2025: ## NIA Raids Target Arsh Dalla’s Gang in India

**New Delhi, May 5, 2025** – The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted simultaneous searches across Delhi, Haryana, and Rajasthan today, targeting members of a criminal network allegedly linked to Canada-based Khalistani terrorist Arshdeep Singh, also known as Arsh Dalla. The raids, at ten locations, are connected to a September 8, 2024, shooting at a Neemrana hotel, where 35 shots were fired to intimidate and extort money.

The NIA identified the attackers as members of the Bambiah gang, with ties to Dalla’s alleged terrorist-gangster network. The agency alleges the gang used prohibited weapons and threatened the hotel’s owner and manager. The manager reportedly received prior threats from international numbers.

The NIA, which took over the case in December, seized electronic devices and other evidence. The agency claims the suspects provided financial support and carried out acts of violence on behalf of Dalla and his associate, Dinesh Gandhi. These acts, the NIA alleges, were aimed at raising funds for banned Khalistani terrorist outfits through extortion of businessmen and other targets.

This is the latest in a series of NIA investigations into Dalla’s network. In December 2024, the agency conducted searches in Punjab and Haryana related to the Khalistan Terrorist Force (KTF) and Dalla’s involvement in a gangster-terror nexus. The NIA’s ongoing investigation includes probes into various terror outfits accused of recruiting Indian associates, raising funds through extortion, smuggling weapons, and facilitating illegal arms movement across the border.
