**SATTUR, May 5, 2025** – A new divisional office of the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (Tangedco) was inaugurated today at the Sattur sub-station. The office, announced earlier by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, will serve consumers in Sattur, K. Subbaiahpuram, Alangulam, and Sivakasi Rural. Several section offices will also fall under its jurisdiction.

Revenue Minister K.K.S.S.R. Ramachandran presided over the opening ceremony, attended by Virudhunagar Collector V.P. Jeyaseelan and Sattur MLA A.R.R. Raghuraman. The new office will streamline electricity-related services for consumers in the region. Residents are advised to contact the Executive Engineer at the new divisional office for all their electricity needs.
