**Hyderabad, May 4, 2025** – A 70-year-old former watchman, Kanakiah, and his 60-year-old wife, Rajamma, were found murdered at their home in Surya Nagar, Alwal, Hyderabad. Police responded to a Dial 100 alert after relatives discovered the couple dead on Sunday morning. Rajamma’s body showed signs of assault, and a stick was found near the scene, suggesting it may have been used as a weapon. Police also reported that Rajamma’s gold chain was missing. The Alwal police have registered a case of murder and launched an investigation into the incident. The couple had resided in the neighborhood for the past six months.
