**Puducherry, May 4, 2025** – An estimated 5,000 MBBS aspirants took the NEET UG 2025 exam across Puducherry on Sunday. The National Testing Agency (NTA) oversaw the exam, held at 12 centers throughout the Union Territory. While precise attendance figures are still being compiled, approximately 4,223 out of 4,322 registered candidates in Puducherry district alone sat for the test. The Public Road Transport Corporation (PRTC) provided special bus services to ensure candidates could reach exam centers across all four regions of the Union Territory. The NTA had previously issued detailed instructions, including a dress code, for participants.
