Sat May 03 10:44:57 UTC 2025: ## Kohli’s Hilarious Roommate Revelation: Swastik’s Persistent Presence a “No,” Jitesh Sharma a “Yes”

**Bengaluru, India** – Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star Virat Kohli recently revealed his roommate preferences in a humorous way during a meet-and-greet event, creating a buzz among fans. In a video posted on RCB’s official X account, Kohli jokingly declared that he wouldn’t want teammate Swastik Chikara as a roommate, citing the young batter’s persistent presence. “He doesn’t leave me alone,” Kohli quipped.

Chikara, a 20-year-old who gained fame for his hat-trick of centuries in the UP T20 League, has become a subject of online memes due to his frequent proximity to Kohli, often seen carrying water and engaging in playful banter.

However, Kohli expressed a preference for wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma as a roommate, praising his sense of humor and describing him as having a mischievous streak. “He’s very street-smart,” Kohli added, noting Sharma’s impressive 121 runs in seven innings for RCB this IPL season.

Kohli’s comments came as RCB prepares to face Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at home this Saturday. Currently sitting third in the IPL’s highest run-scorers with 443 runs in 10 innings, Kohli and his team are in second place in the league standings, boasting seven wins and three losses.
