**Hyderabad, May 3, 2025** – Telangana is gearing up for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) on Sunday, May 4th, with comprehensive security measures in place. A total of 190 exam centers have been arranged across the state to accommodate 72,507 students.
Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao, along with Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, held a video conference with collectors on Friday to finalize arrangements. The exam will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., with candidates permitted entry between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Three-tier security will be in place at all centers, with biometric attendance measures implemented. Additional DGP Mahesh Bhagwat confirmed extensive security arrangements are underway in coordination with local collectors. The Health and Family Welfare department, led by Secretary Christina Z. Chongthu, is ensuring the availability of CCTV surveillance, basic amenities, including drinking water, and medical camps at each center.
