**Mumbai, May 2, 2024** – Veteran Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor’s mother, Nirmal Kapoor, passed away today at the age of 90. She breathed her last at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai after a period of illness. The news has cast a pall of gloom over the Kapoor family.
Nirmal Kapoor, wife of late producer Surinder Kapoor (who passed away in 2011), celebrated her 90th birthday in September 2024. She is survived by her sons Anil Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, and daughter Reena Kapoor, along with numerous grandchildren including Arjun Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Khushi Kapoor, with whom she shared a close bond.
