MUMBAI, INDIA – India is set to host the inaugural World Audiovisual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) from May 1st to 4th, 2025, at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai. The event, described as a “bold step” and “historic occasion” by actress Priyanka Chopra, will bring together over 10,000 participants, including 1,000 creators, 300 organizations, and 350 startups from over 90 countries.

Chopra, in a video message, expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his support, highlighting the summit’s significance in showcasing India’s thriving creative economy and its potential to lead the global entertainment industry.
