**Indore, India** – Jennifer Nathaniel has shared a harrowing account of the terror attack in Baisaran, Jammu and Kashmir, that claimed the life of her husband, Sushil Nathaniel. Speaking to the media, she described a chaotic scene where they initially escaped the initial attack, only to be later apprehended by terrorists who appeared to be targeting individuals based on their religion.
According to Jennifer, the family was preparing to leave when her husband went to the restroom. Upon returning, they witnessed the attack unfold, with panicked individuals running for cover. After hiding, they were discovered by the terrorists. Jennifer stated that the terrorists demanded her husband recite the Muslim declaration of faith (Kalma). Upon his refusal, he was killed. Their daughter, Akanksha, also suffered bullet injuries during the attack.
Sushil Nathaniel, a branch manager for LIC, was traveling with his wife, daughter, and son when the attack occurred on April 19th. His body arrived in Indore late Wednesday night, where Chief Minister Mohan Yadav offered his condolences. A funeral service was held Thursday, followed by burial at a Christian cemetery in the city. The family is now mourning their loss and dealing with the aftermath of the tragic incident.
