**KRISHNAGIRI, INDIA (April 23, 2025)** – Quick-thinking villagers rescued a spotted deer from a well in Pukkasagaram village yesterday. The deer, found struggling in the well, was pulled to safety using a rope before being transported to a forest veterinary clinic. According to District Forest Officer Jagdish S. Bakan, local residents acted swiftly, rescuing the animal even before the forest team arrived. The deer is currently under observation and reported to be stable.
