**Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh:** Millions of students in Uttar Pradesh are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) Class 10th and 12th board examination results for 2025. Over 54 lakh students appeared for the exams, with approximately 25.56 lakh in Class 10 and 25.77 lakh in Class 12.
While the Uttar Pradesh Board concluded the exams in March, the UPMSP has not yet released an official date for the results. Rumors circulating on social media regarding an April 15th release have been officially refuted by the board. Last year, the results were declared on April 20th. The board has warned against spreading misinformation and stated that legal action may be taken against those who do so.
Students can check their results on the official websites, upmsp.edu.in and upresults.nic.in, once released. To avoid potential website traffic issues, students are encouraged to register on education.indianexpress.com to receive their results via email or SMS.
In 2024, the pass percentage was 89.55% for Class 10 and 82.60% for Class 12. Girls consistently outperformed boys in Class 10 over the past five years. The top scorer in Class 12 in 2024 was Shubham Verma, achieving 97.80%.
The UPMSP emphasized the importance of quality education, with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath instructing officials to ensure adequate teacher-student ratios across the state. The board also announced that the compartment/improvement exam schedule will be released after the main results are declared. The evaluation of nearly 3 crore answer sheets was completed under strict supervision by over 1.34 lakh examiners. Further updates will be provided by the UPMSP as the release date approaches.
