**Hyderabad, Telangana – April 21, 2025** – A horrific head-on collision between two cars near Venkatraopet gate in Kowdipally, Telangana, resulted in the deaths of three family members, including a toddler, late Sunday night. Six others sustained serious injuries in the accident.
According to Narsapur police, the collision occurred around midnight, involving two vehicles traveling in opposite directions. Pasha Ali (50), his wife Azeema Begum (45), and their one-and-a-half-year-old grandson, Ghouse, were killed in the crash. Pasha Ali died at the scene, while Azeema and Ghouse succumbed to their injuries during treatment.
The driver of one of the vehicles, 35-year-old Vanam Harish Reddy, survived with a fractured leg and has been accused of negligent driving. The injured, including Sana Begum (30), Iran Sahesha (25), Halima (55), MD Mohammad (5), and two infants under six months old, are receiving treatment at a local hospital.
Narsapur police have registered a case and are investigating the incident. Preliminary findings suggest that overspeeding and reckless driving may have been contributing factors to the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
