**Villanova, PA** – Thirteen new senators have been elected to the Villanova University Student Government Association (SGA) following a campus-wide election. The newly elected senators will represent their respective class years (2026, 2027, 2028) and academic colleges, serving as the legislative branch of the SGA. Their responsibilities include advocating for their constituents and voting on SGA proposals.
Among the newly elected are returning senators who plan to continue ongoing projects. Gigi Giuliano (Class of 2026) aims to expand access to menstrual products and improve campus dining. Savarin Seebald (Class of 2026), who played a key role in bringing menstrual products to campus, focuses on inclusivity and student well-being. Maggie Parham (Class of 2026) will work on repainting a campus mural and maintaining transparency through the SGA newsletter.
Other senators have outlined their priorities for the upcoming year. Carter Ralston (Class of 2027) will focus on expanding dining options on West Campus, while Maya Matthews (Class of 2028) plans to continue collaborating with Dining Services and developing the Student Liaison Program. Matthias Miller (Class of 2028) hopes to increase gym hours and improve housing transparency. Elizabeth Howard (Class of 2028) aims to improve SGA’s online presence, and Conor Keane (Class of 2028) prioritizes improving communication with students.
Representing the Engineering college, Conor Grady will work to bridge the gap between engineering student organizations and the SGA, and improve communication between students and professors. In the Villanova School of Business (VSB), Taylor, a returning senator, plans to re-evaluate the VSB curriculum and expand access to VSB resources. Additionally, a new VSB senator, Kim, hopes to boost communication and transparency, and even bring Chick-fil-A to campus.
