Thu Apr 17 06:00:00 UTC 2025: ## Actress Winsy Files Complaint Against Shine Tom Chacko for Misconduct on Film Set
**Kochi:** Actress Winsy C. Alosius has filed a complaint with the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) and the Film Chamber against actor Shine Tom Chacko, alleging misconduct on the set of the film “Soothravakyam.” Winsy claims Chacko behaved inappropriately towards her under the influence of drugs.
Winsy detailed instances of uncomfortable behavior, including inappropriate advances and the actor spitting white powder during a scene rehearsal. She described feeling extremely distressed by his actions and finding it difficult to work with him.
Following the complaint, AMMA, FEFKA, and the Film Chamber have expressed support for Winsy. The Film Chamber has advised Winsy to file a complaint with their internal grievance redressal committee, if one existed on that set. The Chamber’s Monitoring Committee will examine the complaint and take appropriate action. The Excise Department has also reportedly initiated inquiries into Winsy’s allegations.
This incident follows recent allegations linking Shine Tom Chacko to a hybrid drug case in Alappuzha, which he denied. The new complaint against him has prompted widespread calls for action within the Malayalam film industry. WCC has also stated that they would extend their support to Winsy should she choose to pursue the matter further. They have also requested an investigation into the presence of an internal complaint redressal committee on the set in question.
