**Bhubaneswar, Odisha –** Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has pledged strong action against those responsible for burning a statue of former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik in Balangir district. The incident, which occurred following a Biju Janata Dal (BJD) protest, has sparked outrage.

CM Majhi expressed deep sorrow, calling the perpetrators cowards with a sick mentality. Police have arrested one suspect, and investigations are underway to uncover any potential conspiracy. The Chief Minister emphasized the state government’s commitment to honoring its great leaders.
