**Singapore** – The Singapore government has honored four Indian migrant workers for their bravery in rescuing children, including the son of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, from a recent building fire.
The fire broke out on April 8th in a three-story building near the River Valley Road in Singapore’s central business district. The incident resulted in injuries to 20 people, including 15 children. Among those injured was Mark Shankar, the younger son of Pawan Kalyan.
According to the Singapore government, the four migrant workers, who were working nearby, heard children screaming and saw smoke billowing from the third floor. Without hesitation, they sprang into action, rescuing several children trapped inside the burning building. Their quick thinking and selfless actions prevented further casualties.
The Singapore government commended the workers for their bravery and quick response, recognizing their courageous efforts in saving lives, including that of Mark Shankar, who is now recovering at home. Chiranjeevi, father of Pawan Kalyan, expressed gratitude to everyone who prayed for Mark’s recovery.
