Sun Apr 13 14:12:20 UTC 2025: ## Bengaluru Startup Launches AI-Powered App to Improve Autism Support

**Bengaluru, April 14, 2025** – A Bengaluru-based startup, Ability Advocacy, launched Krivi.ai, a mobile application aimed at revolutionizing autism management in India. The app, unveiled Saturday, offers a comprehensive, data-driven platform connecting parents, therapists, educators, and researchers to streamline communication and simplify operational complexities.

Krivi.ai was born from the personal experience of founders Shivendra Upadhyay and Bibha Kumari, whose son was diagnosed with autism. Recognizing the existing gaps in the special needs ecosystem, they developed the app to empower support providers to focus on the child’s needs rather than administrative tasks.

The app acts as a central hub, facilitating collaboration and shared goal tracking. It utilizes Krivi Buddy, a conversational AI, to provide instant support and streamlines appointment scheduling and session management. Mr. Upadhyay highlighted the significant need for such a solution, citing studies indicating that one in 68 Indian children (aged 0-17) have autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

“By eliminating operational overheads and offering intelligent, evidence-based tools, we are shifting the ecosystem from reactive to proactive,” said Upadhyay. “Krivi.ai empowers parents and stakeholders to collaborate more effectively, ensuring every child receives the support they deserve.” The app aims to improve efficiency and coordination within the autism support network, fostering a more proactive and collaborative approach to care.
