**Hyderabad, April 12, 2025** – Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will launch the Bhu Bharathi portal on April 14, aiming to resolve longstanding land transaction issues plaguing the state. The portal, a comprehensive record of rights (RoR), is expected to streamline revenue services and address problems accumulated over the past decade.

Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy stated that the previous government’s implementation of the RoR Act lacked necessary rules and procedures, leading to complications for lakhs of farmers. He highlighted the inability to legally correct errors in Dharani records, the neglect of Pahani and Village Revenue Account maintenance, and the lack of Sadabainam regularization as major contributing factors. The Bhu Bharathi portal is intended to rectify these shortcomings and provide efficient, comprehensive land-related services to the public. The new Act will address age-old land disputes, according to the Minister.
