Vijayawada, April 12, 2025 – The BJP launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, accusing it of repeatedly undermining Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and his ideals. Addressing media on the eve of the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Samman Abhiyan, BJP National vice-president D.K. Aruna alleged that Congress had historically worked against Ambedkar, even orchestrating his defeat in Lok Sabha elections. She further refuted Congress claims that a BJP government would alter the Constitution’s basic structure, asserting that BJP-led NDA amendments were always in the national interest.
Aruna highlighted the BJP’s commitment to realizing Ambedkar’s vision under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. State BJP president Daggubati Purandeswari echoed these sentiments, emphasizing Modi’s dedication to achieving Ambedkar’s dream of an egalitarian society.
