**New York, NY** – Ioannis, a highly acclaimed artist and designer known for his iconic album art for numerous rock legends, has passed away. The announcement was made via his official Facebook page, which described him as a beloved husband, father, and friend.

Ioannis, born in Athens, Greece, and arriving in the US in 1967, was internationally recognized for his contributions to the music industry. His career spanned decades, featuring collaborations with major record labels including Universal Music, Sony Music, and EMI. He created album art for over 350 bands and artists, including Dream Theater, Voivod, Sepultura, Deep Purple, Bon Jovi, and many more. His work also extended to award-winning campaigns and logos for clients such as Starz and IFC Films.

Inspired by comic books, animation, and the album art of masters like Roger Dean and Storm Thorgerson, Ioannis’s first record cover design was featured in the book “1000 Record Covers.” His work was also showcased in “Fade To Black” and “Get the Led Out.” He held numerous art shows throughout the US and continued to sell his artwork internationally until his death.
