Thu Apr 10 19:43:58 UTC 2025: ## Fake Cardiologist’s Claims Under Scrutiny After Multiple Deaths in India
**Damoh, Madhya Pradesh, India –** A fake cardiologist, Narendra Vikramaditya Yadav (alias Narendra John Camm), is under investigation following multiple deaths at a hospital where he performed procedures. Yadav, arrested on April 7th in Uttar Pradesh, allegedly impersonated a UK-based cardiologist. While possessing a legitimate MBBS degree from the University of North Bengal, authorities are investigating his claims of further medical qualifications obtained abroad.
Damoh Superintendent of Police Shrutkirti Somvanshi confirmed that Yadav admitted to forging multiple degrees, including a Doctor of Medicine (MD). Police are contacting foreign institutions to verify Yadav’s claims of completing courses such as the Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians in London. They are also seeking his foreign travel records. Meanwhile, the cardiac catheterisation laboratory at Mission Hospital, where Yadav performed procedures like angioplasty and angiography, has been sealed. This action followed a visit by the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), which expressed serious concerns about the lab’s operation. The investigation is ongoing.
