Thu Apr 10 14:28:02 UTC 2025: ## Vontimitta Temple Dazzles in Preparation for Grand Sita Rama Kalyanam
**TIRUMALA, Andhra Pradesh, April 10, 2025** – The Sri Kodanda Rama Temple in Vontimitta, known as “Andhra’s Ayodhya,” is resplendent in preparation for the grand “Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam” ceremony scheduled for Friday, April 11. Extensive renovations and decorations have transformed the temple complex, with colourful electric illuminations, floral displays, and truss lighting creating a spectacular atmosphere.
Over 100 workers spent more than a month preparing the temple and its surroundings. The enhancements include ten large and thirty smaller electric cutouts depicting various deities and scenes from Hindu mythology, strategically placed along the roads leading to the “Kalyana Vedika” (marriage hall). A dazzling electric diamond crown model serves as a focal point.
To ensure all devotees can witness the ceremony, two large LED screens have been installed near the main temple, complemented by 23 more within and around the Kalyana Vedika. The event will be live-streamed from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on April 11, with a state-of-the-art audio system. To combat the summer heat, approximately 350 air coolers have been strategically positioned, in addition to air conditioners on the main stage. The temple is anticipating a large turnout for this significant religious event.
