Thu Apr 10 17:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Son of NFL Legend Larry Fitzgerald Visits UCLA, Bruins Eye Top Wide Receiver Recruit

**Los Angeles, CA** – UCLA’s spring football camp isn’t just about onboarding new players; it’s also a prime opportunity to impress top recruits. This week, the Bruins welcomed three-star wide receiver Devin Fitzgerald, a highly touted prospect from Brophy College Preparatory High School in Phoenix, Arizona, and the son of Hall of Fame wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald.

Devin, ranked as the No. 5 prospect in Arizona and No. 79 nationally among wide receivers in the class of 2026 (247Sports Composite), is generating significant interest. 247Sports lists UCLA as a “warm” contender for his commitment. The younger Fitzgerald had an impressive junior season, recording 720 yards and nine touchdowns on 52 receptions.

His father, Larry Fitzgerald, a legendary Arizona Cardinals receiver, boasts an illustrious NFL career that includes 11 Pro Bowl selections, one All-Pro honor, and a place on the Pro Football Hall of Fame All-2010s Team. Larry’s career highlights include leading the league in receptions multiple times and accumulating 17,492 receiving yards and 121 touchdowns.

Devin, who attended UCLA’s Junior Day in January, has an official visit scheduled for June 12th. He’s also received offers from several other prominent programs, including North Carolina, Michigan, and Florida State.

A commitment from Devin would be a significant coup for UCLA, adding to their already impressive four-member 2026 recruiting class for wide receivers. The Bruins haven’t secured a commitment since November. The program is actively pursuing the young star, hoping to leverage the family connection and the prestige of the UCLA program to secure his services.
