**Hyderabad, [Date]** – The Telangana government has launched the Rajiv Yuva Vikas scheme to promote self-employment among unemployed youth. The scheme, launched in 2025, provides financial assistance for self-employment ventures, aiming to empower youth from SC, ST, BC, and minority communities.
The scheme offers subsidized loans to boost employment and self-reliance. While the initial rollout saw high application numbers across the state, including in Warangal district (with a deadline of April 14th), difficulties arose due to the initial requirement of an income certificate. Responding to these challenges, the state government has relaxed the requirement. Applicants possessing a white ration card can now submit a photocopy instead of an income certificate. Those without a ration card must still provide an income certificate. The subsidy offered under the Rajiv Yuva Vikas scheme varies depending on the loan amount:
