**Seoul, South Korea (Yonhap News)** – Monday, October 7th, will see mostly sunny skies across the nation, although the Seoul metropolitan area and Gangwon Province can expect cloudy conditions starting in the evening, with rain expected late at night. Rainfall is predicted to be less than 5mm in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, and Chungbuk provinces.

Temperatures will range from a low of 0-9°C to a high of 16-24°C. Significant temperature differences of over 15°C between day and night are expected, prompting health warnings. Air quality is forecast to be “good” to “moderate” nationwide, except for northern Seoul and Gyeonggi, which may experience temporarily “poor” air quality in the morning and evening.

Farmers should be aware of potential frost in some inland areas during the early morning hours. Strong winds and potential wind advisories are predicted for mountainous areas and the east coast of Gangwon Province, as well as the northeastern mountains and east coast of Gyeongsangbuk-do Province. Residents are urged to secure outdoor facilities and take precautions against accidents.

Sea conditions will be relatively calm, with wave heights ranging from 0.5-1.5m in the East Sea, 0.5-2.0m in the West Sea, and 0.5-1.0m in the South Sea.
