**Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, April 5, 2025** – A ten-day workshop on student innovation and entrepreneurship, “Udyavishk-2K25,” kicked off Friday at the Prasad V. Potluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology (PVP SIT). The event, which features eight activities designed to foster collaboration and skill development, saw participation from 72 B.Tech students divided into nine teams.

Sekhara Babu P.S., Executive Director of Business Network International (BNI), Guntur, urged students to think beyond traditional employment and embrace entrepreneurship. He stressed the importance of developing a Unique Selling Proposition (USP) to differentiate products and services in the marketplace.

Appaji Reddem, Resident Editor of The Hindu, Andhra Pradesh, highlighted the societal impact of entrepreneurship, emphasizing its role in driving economic growth, job creation, and addressing societal challenges. He cited chip designing as a promising field for aspiring entrepreneurs. He encouraged students to identify societal needs and develop innovative solutions.

Krishna Sowjanya, a resource person at the event, lauded the collaborative nature of the workshop, noting its success in providing a platform for students to hone and showcase their skills. PVP SIT Principal K. Sivaji Babu stated the college’s commitment to supporting student ventures through funding and incubation.

The workshop aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, equipping students with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the business world.
