Sat Apr 05 02:00:00 UTC 2025: ## Gold and Silver Prices Plummet, Offering Buyers a Rare Opportunity

**Hyderabad, India – April 5, 2025** – Gold and silver prices experienced a dramatic drop today, marking a significant downturn for precious metals. This unexpected plunge has delighted buyers, with prices reaching levels not seen in recent times.

International spot gold prices plummeted from $3001 per ounce yesterday morning to $3038 today, briefly dipping below $3020 intraday. Silver prices saw an even more considerable fall, dropping from $33 to $29.62 per ounce.

The domestic market mirrored this trend. In Hyderabad, 22-carat gold prices fell by ₹1600 per tola, settling at ₹84,000. 24-carat gold saw a similar decline of ₹1740 per ten grams, reaching ₹91,640. Delhi saw comparable drops, with 22-carat gold at ₹84,150 per tola and 10 grams of 24-carat gold priced at ₹91,790.

This sharp decrease follows a period of high gold prices triggered by economic uncertainty stemming from US President Trump’s tariffs. The recent price surge had pushed gold to all-time highs, but the current market shift presents a unique buying opportunity for consumers.
