**VIZIANAGARAM, Andhra Pradesh, April 5, 2025** – An 18-year-old girl was stabbed in Shivaram village, Vizianagaram district, on Saturday. The attack, which occurred while the victim was cleaning utensils, left her with a stomach wound. While initially experiencing heavy bleeding, her condition is now reported as stable.
The unidentified assailants wore masks during the attack. Police, including Superintendent of Police Vakul Jindal, have launched an investigation, deploying a clues team and dog squads to track down the perpetrators. A private hospital in Vizianagaram is currently providing treatment for the victim.
TDP district in-charge Kimidi Nagarjuna visited the victim in the hospital and expressed his condemnation of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
