**Jodhpur, India** – Gold and silver prices experienced a significant drop in Jodhpur today, following a similar trend in international markets. Silver saw its largest single-day decline this year, plummeting ₹6,100 to ₹91,500 per kilogram. This marks an ₹8,000 decrease over the past four days, bringing prices down to their lowest point in 34 days. The record high for silver this year was ₹1.2 lakh per kilogram, reached on March 31st.
Gold also suffered a considerable loss, falling ₹1,900 to ₹91,200 per ten grams.
Market analysts attribute this sharp decline to profit-booking in international markets, triggered by a report showing increased job creation in the US during March. This led to a two-day price slump internationally, impacting domestic prices. Further significant drops in gold and silver prices are anticipated for Saturday due to the continued downturn in international markets.
