**NEW YORK, NY –** Music legend Bruce Springsteen is set to release a massive collection of previously unheard material this summer. Entitled “Tracks II: The Lost Albums,” the compilation features seven full-length albums, totaling 83 songs, spanning various points in Springsteen’s career. The collection will be released on June 27th via Sony Music.
Springsteen himself described the albums as “full records, some of them even to the point of being mixed and not released,” adding that he’s “glad you’ll get a chance to finally hear them.” A preview track, “Rain In The River” from the album “Perfect World,” has been released and showcases the collection’s “arena-ready E Street flavor.”
“Tracks II: The Lost Albums” will be available in a limited-edition nine-LP vinyl set, a seven-CD set, and digitally. Each unreleased album will have distinctive packaging, and the collection will include a 100-page hardcover book with rare photos, liner notes by essayist Erik Flannigan, and a personal introduction from Springsteen. A companion set, “Lost And Found: Selections from The Lost Albums,” featuring 20 highlights, will also be released in two-LP and single-CD formats. Pre-orders are now available.
