Thu Apr 03 22:50:00 UTC 2025: ## Springsteen to Unleash 83 Unreleased Tracks in “Lost Albums” Collection

**New Jersey, USA** – Rock legend Bruce Springsteen is set to release a massive collection of unreleased material titled *Tracks II: The Lost Albums* on June 27th. The compilation spans 35 years, from 1983 to 2018, and features 83 songs, 74 of which have never before been officially heard by the public.

Springsteen, who created the collection during the COVID-19 pandemic, describes the project as containing “full records, some of them even to the point of being mixed and not released.” The albums showcase the artist’s diverse musical explorations, ranging from the stripped-down sound of *Nebraska* to the synth-infused experimentation heard in the *Streets of Philadelphia Sessions*, inspired by the iconic song from the 1993 film. Other albums included in the collection delve into country, noir, and even a fictional film soundtrack, *Faithless*.

The 75-year-old musician directly challenges the notion of a “lost period” in his 90s career, stating, “Really I was working the whole time.” The release will include a 100-page book with rare photos and liner notes. A 20-song selection from the seven albums will also be released separately. This follows Springsteen’s 1998 release of *Tracks*, featuring B-sides and demos. A preview track, “Rain in the River,” from the album *Perfect World*, is already available.

The announcement coincides with Springsteen’s upcoming UK tour, marking his third consecutive summer performing in the country. His most recent studio album, *Only the Strong Survive*, was released in 2022. He also recently collaborated with The Killers on an EP, *Encore at the Garden*, to be released on Record Store Day (April 12th). Fans eagerly await the unveiling of *Tracks II: The Lost Albums* and the chance to hear a vast trove of previously unheard Springsteen music.
