Fri Apr 04 14:42:54 UTC 2025: ## 20,000 Students to Attempt Guinness Record with Mass Surya Namaskar Performance
**VISAKHAPATNAM, April 4, 2025** – Around 20,000 tribal students from Alluri Sitharama Raju district, Andhra Pradesh, will attempt to set multiple records by performing 108 Surya Namaskarams simultaneously for 108 minutes on April 7th. The event, titled “Yoga – Maha Surya Vandanam,” will take place at the Government Degree College Grounds in Araku Valley.
The initiative, spearheaded by the district administration, aims to promote the importance of yoga and healthy lifestyles from a young age. Students from approximately 50 schools have been training for months in preparation. A team from London will be present to observe the event.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has already released a poster for the event, and the district collector, A.S. Dinesh Kumar, has invited both the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister K Pawan Kalyan to attend. Mr. Pawan Kalyan’s attendance is anticipated.
