Fri Apr 04 08:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Ayodhya Ram Navami Mela: VIP Entry, Crowd Control Measures in Place
**Ayodhya, [Date]:** With Ram Navami Mela approaching, the Ayodhya district administration and the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra are working together on elaborate preparations. Learning from the massive crowds at the recent Prayagraj Kumbh Mela, a significant focus is on crowd management and VIP movement.
A key decision involves designating the North Gate as the sole entry point for VIPs during the main festival day. The construction agency responsible for the North Gate has been instructed to expedite completion. Non-essential construction work has been halted, while urgent tasks are to be finished within 24 hours, followed by thorough cleaning of the area.
The crossing near “Crossing Shri” will be used for the exit of devotees if crowds are large. If the crowd remains manageable, it will be used as an exit only on April 5th and 6th. Unlike last year, the Angad Tila exit route will remain open this year to ensure smooth dispersal and avoid disruptions to the distribution of Prasad (holy offerings) to Ram Lalla.
The distribution of special cardamom-flavored Prasad to all devotees will be ensured through additional counters. The number of Prasad packets distributed (450 packets per sack) will be used to estimate the total number of devotees, with strict instructions to provide one packet per devotee.
