**Munnar, Kerala –** Eravikulam National Park, a renowned wildlife sanctuary in Kerala’s Western Ghats, will reopen to the public on April 1st, 2025, after a two-month closure for the breeding season. The park, located in Idukki district’s Devikulam Taluk, is famed for its diverse flora and fauna, most notably its population of endangered Nilgiri Tahrs, a type of wild goat unique to the region. The park also boasts stunning landscapes, waterfalls, and breathtaking views, including the majestic Anamudi Peak, the tallest mountain in South India.

Visitors can access the park via the road to Rajamala from Munnar, the nearest town. The park operates daily from 8 am to 4 pm. Tickets, priced at Rs 125 for adults and Rs 95 for children (Rs 420 for foreign tourists), can be purchased online or at the entrance. Additional fees apply for photography (Rs 45 for still images, Rs 335 for video). Advance booking is recommended.
