Tue Apr 01 12:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Dolphins Coach Confident Tyreek Hill Will Stay, Despite Social Media Speculation
**Miami, FL –** Despite recent social media posts by wide receiver Tyreek Hill fueling trade speculation, Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel expressed confidence that the five-time All-Pro will remain with the team for the 2025 season.
Speaking at the NFL league meetings on Monday, McDaniel stated, “We are fully planning to move forward as a better version of our relationship with Tyreek and the Miami Dolphins. I have no reason to think otherwise.” He acknowledged, however, that the NFL is unpredictable and refrained from making absolute guarantees.
The speculation surrounding Hill’s future began after he hinted at leaving Miami following the team’s final regular season game. While general manager Chris Grier denied Hill had requested a trade, Hill later retracted his initial comments, attributing them to frustration. Recent social media activity, including a “peace-out” emoji and responses to trade-related posts, have further fueled the rumors.
McDaniel downplayed the social media activity, calling Hill’s online antics “known” and stating he hasn’t spoken to the player directly. Hill, meanwhile, is focusing on his recovery from wrist surgery and is organizing a 60-meter race against Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles. The Dolphins are expecting Hill to be ready for training camp.
