**LOS ANGELES, CA** – Justin Hartley is enjoying the perks of working alongside his wife, Sofia Pernas, on his hit CBS series, “Tracker.” The actor, who also serves as an executive producer on the show, revealed that having Pernas guest star was his idea from the beginning.

“I enjoy being around her. I’m having the time of my life with this show,” Hartley told USA Today. He described their on-screen chemistry as having “a romantic spark,” although he hesitated to label their characters’ relationship a full-blown love story.

Hartley’s casting of Pernas, who he married in 2021, has been a source of amusement. He joked on “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?” that getting her on board was as simple as saying, “‘Hey, babe. Come on, we’re going to work.'” The couple previously collaborated on “The Young and the Restless” and the “Quantum Leap” reboot.

Pernas plays Billie, a character described by Hartley as a rival to his character, Colter. Their on-screen dynamic promises exciting developments in upcoming episodes. “Tracker,” based on Jeffery Deaver’s novel, follows Colter, a survivalist who solves mysteries across the country.

Hartley praised Pernas’ acting talent, stating, “She elevates scenes, and so it makes my job easier.” The show also features other notable guest stars, including Jensen Ackles, Melissa Roxburgh, and Jennifer Morrison.

“Tracker” airs on CBS Sundays at 8 p.m. ET and streams on Paramount+ the following day.
