Fri Mar 28 15:19:39 UTC 2025: ## IIT Madras Alumni to Gather for First Annual Meet in Thiruvananthapuram
**THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, March 28, 2025** – The IIT Madras Alumni Association (IITMAA) Thiruvananthapuram chapter will hold its inaugural annual meet this Saturday, March 29th, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Trivandrum Tennis Club. The event will feature a distinguished lineup of speakers, including Ganesh Pillai, Scientific Secretary of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), who will serve as the chief guest.
Other keynote speakers include C. Anandharamakrishnan, Director of CSIR-National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (NIIST); M.S. Rajasree, former Vice-Chancellor of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University; and Ashwin Mahalingam, Dean of Alumni Affairs at IIT Madras. Bobby George and Kaviraj Nair, from IIT Madras’ Department of Medical Sciences and Technology and Institutional Advancement respectively, will also participate.
The Thiruvananthapuram chapter, established in March 2024, is one of 21 IITMAA chapters worldwide (16 in India and 5 abroad).
