**Coimbatore, March 25, 2025** – A. Adalarasan, the Southern Tamil Nadu president of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), has criticized the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Department for its management of temples in Tamil Nadu. Adalarasan alleges that excessive darshan fees and numerous restrictions are hindering peaceful worship for devotees. He further claimed that temple funds are not being efficiently used for infrastructure improvements and that asset management is inadequate. These statements were made during a press address in Coimbatore on Monday.
