**Madurai, March 21, 2025** – The Young Indians (Yi), a part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), launched “Project Masoom,” a nationwide initiative focused on child safety, Yi national chairman Taranga Khurana announced Friday. The project aims to raise awareness and empower children, parents, educators, and the wider community to prevent and address child safety risks.
To launch the initiative, Yi organized a leadership cricket league in Tamil Nadu, bringing together members from 16 chapters. The event combined sportsmanship with leadership training, reinforcing the message of child safety in a fun and engaging way.
Khurana emphasized that child safety is a collective responsibility. Yi’s efforts extend beyond Project Masoom to include initiatives tackling road accidents and drug abuse. Members across the country are working with police and conducting awareness programs in schools and colleges.
With over 70 chapters and 7,000 members nationwide, Yi aims to foster youth leadership and contribute to national development. The organization believes its members represent a significant pool of talent ready to address India’s challenges.
