Thu Mar 20 13:15:15 UTC 2025: ## SASTRA University to Host Free Cardiac and Ophthalmology Camps in Thanjavur and Kumbakonam
**Thanjavur, March 20, 2025** – SASTRA deemed-to-be-university will be conducting free cardiac and ophthalmology medical camps in Thanjavur and Kumbakonam on March 29th and 30th, respectively. The camps, organized in memory of the institution’s founder, Ramachandra Iyer, will be held in association with doctors from Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai.
The camps will offer free baseline blood tests, ECGs, echocardiograms, and certain medications to non-government employees and their dependents.
