Further improvements include the construction of a material recovery facility at Rayankere and Kesare waste treatment plants to enhance recycling efforts, and the procurement of windrow turners for composting. A new construction and demolition (C&D) waste facility, costing ₹16.66 crore, is also planned to recycle the city’s daily 100-150 tonnes of C&D waste.

To improve the city’s underground drainage (UGD) system, the MCC will invest in mechanized solutions, including two super sucker machines, seven jetting machines, and 16 desilting machines to address clogged drains.
