**Thiruvananthapuram, March 19, 2025** – Professor J. Devika of the Centre for Development Studies delivered the B. Hrdayakumari endowment lecture at Government Women’s College on Wednesday. The lecture, focusing on “Gender, loneliness and unconventional thinking,” explored the life of Kochattil Kalyanikutty Amma. The endowment lecture series was established in honor of the late Professor Hrdayakumari, a former student, teacher, and principal of the college. Department head J.N. Ajith Kumar and faculty member G. Saritha were also in attendance.
