Wed Mar 19 08:40:00 UTC 2025: ## Ted Lasso Recasting Young Henry for Season 4

**Los Angeles, CA** – Apple TV+’s hit comedy *Ted Lasso* is undergoing a minor casting shakeup as production gears up for its fourth season. While the show has officially been renewed and key cast members like Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift are returning, the role of Ted Lasso’s son, Henry, is being recast.

The character of Henry, previously played by Gus Turner, will now be portrayed by a new actor, likely due to the increased soccer skills required for the expanded role. Turner has reportedly been invited to audition. The search is currently underway for a young actor who can convincingly portray a skilled soccer player.

Season 4 is set to begin filming in Kansas, offering the new Henry actor a chance to showcase their soccer abilities. The show’s creators are keeping plot details under wraps, but the season is expected to feature Ted coaching AFC Richmond’s newly formed women’s team. Henry’s role and location (Kansas or the UK) are also yet to be confirmed, but it is expected to be more significant than in previous seasons.

While Andrea Anders, who played Henry’s mother Michelle, is not yet confirmed for Season 4, the show’s core cast remains largely intact. Juno Temple is currently in negotiations to return as Keeley. Brendan Hunt, who plays Coach Beard, is confirmed as a writer and executive producer, but his return as an actor is not yet finalized.
