**Seoul, South Korea** – Samsung announced the official rollout of One UI 7, its Android 15-based operating system, beginning April 7th. The update, initially showcased with the Galaxy S25 series, will first reach the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
One UI 7 boasts significant visual improvements, including enhanced customization options and redesigned widgets. A key new feature is the Now Bar, a bottom-screen information bar displaying various insights and data. The update also leverages Samsung’s Galaxy AI suite, adding features like AI Select for screen element selection, Writing and Drawing Assist for text summarization and image creation, and Audio Eraser for noise reduction in videos. Improved integration with Google’s Gemini AI chatbot and natural language search within the Settings app are also included.
While the Galaxy S24, Fold 6, and Flip 6 receive the update on April 7th, Samsung confirms that the Galaxy S24 FE, S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Tab S10 series, and Tab S9 series will also receive One UI 7 in the coming weeks. Specific dates for these devices are yet to be announced.
