**New Delhi, March 19 (PTI)** – Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday welcomed NASA astronaut Sunita Williams and the members of Crew-9 back to Earth after their long mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS). He lauded their unwavering determination as an inspiration to millions.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Modi stated, “Welcome back, Crew-9! You were missed on Earth.”

Williams, along with fellow NASA astronauts Nick Hague and Butch Wilmore, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexander Gorbunov, returned to Earth early Wednesday aboard a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft, splashing down off the coast of Tallahassee, Florida.

Modi praised the crew’s resilience and courage, highlighting their mission as a testament to human perseverance and spirit. He emphasized that their steadfast determination in the face of the unknown will continue to inspire countless individuals. He added that space exploration represents pushing the boundaries of human potential, daring to dream, and having the courage to transform those dreams into reality.
