**HARRISBURG, PA** – The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for parts of Central Pennsylvania, which has since expired. The warning, initially in effect until 10:15 p.m., advised residents to remain indoors and away from windows due to the potential for strong and damaging winds.

While widespread rain continues to move through the Susquehanna Valley, the storms are expected to weaken overnight. Although scattered showers and thunderstorms may persist, they will be less intense than earlier. Residents can still expect some significant rainfall before the showers taper off completely overnight.
