**New York, NY – March 13, 2024** – Trader Joe’s is recalling approximately 61,500 bottles of Gerolsteiner Sparkling Natural Mineral Water due to the potential for the glass containers to shatter. The recall affects bottles with lot codes 11/28/2024 L or 11/27/2024 L, sold for approximately $3 each.
The issue was discovered during production and is believed to affect roughly 1% of bottles within these specific lot codes. While no injuries have been reported, Trader Joe’s is urging customers to immediately stop using affected bottles and return them to any Trader Joe’s location for a full refund, no receipt necessary.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is supporting the recall and advises consumers to dispose of the recalled bottles carefully.
