Sat Mar 15 23:20:00 UTC 2025: **Minnesota High School Girls Basketball Championship Set for Epic Showdown**

**MINNEAPOLIS, MN – March 15, 2024** – A clash of titans awaits in the Minnesota Class AA girls basketball championship. Undefeated No. 1 Providence Academy will face No. 2 Crosby-Ironton on Saturday at Williams Arena in what is being touted as one of the state’s greatest high school basketball matchups ever.

The stage was set Friday night when Crosby-Ironton edged out No. 3 Minnehaha Academy 85-72 in a thrilling semifinal. The Rangers’ victory was fueled by a stellar performance from junior guard Tori Oehrlein (University of Minnesota recruit), who scored 27 points and grabbed 19 rebounds, along with 31 points from senior guard Regan Juenemann. Minnehaha Academy’s Addison Mack, Minnesota’s second all-time leading scorer, countered with 28 points.

Providence Academy advanced earlier in the day, cruising past Minnewaska Area thanks in part to a 26-point effort by junior guard Maddyn Greenway (University of Kentucky commit).

The championship game features a remarkable concentration of scoring talent. Oehrlein (4,410 career points), Greenway (4,414 points), and Mack (4,655 points) rank among the state’s all-time leading scorers.

Last year’s Class AA semifinals saw Providence Academy decisively defeat Crosby-Ironton. This year’s rematch promises a far more competitive contest, pitting two undefeated teams and several future collegiate stars against each other in a battle for the state title.
