NEW DELHI, March 14, 2025 – CPI(M) interim coordinator Prakash Karat has dismissed speculation that Congress MP Shashi Tharoor will join the Left party. In an interview with PTI, Karat stated that Tharoor has never indicated any intention of leaving the Congress. While praising Tharoor as a non-conventional politician whose views may sometimes be inconvenient for the Congress, Karat emphasized the lack of any suggestion from Tharoor regarding a party switch.
